New Signal Being Installed at US 15 and Opossumtown Pike

Frederick, Md. ---Please be advised State Highway Administration staff will install a new traffic signal, at the intersection of the Southbound exit ramp of US 15 and Opossumtown Pike, on Monday, November 15, 2004. The signal will be placed into flashing mode in which the traffic on Opossumtown Pike will be provided with the flashing amber light, and traffic approaching the intersection from the exit ramp will be provided with a flashing red light. This flashing mode will give the regular traffic in this area a chance to adapt to the new signal before it is placed into full operation on Friday, November 19, 2004.
