West Patrick Street Construction Update

Frederick, Md. ---Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. will continue installation of the new 16” water main in West Patrick Street. Most of the work being performed on the dates listed will require a traffic detour due to the limited amount of space available for safely maintaining a lane of traffic through the work area. We are planning to have a temporary traffic detour in place on Monday, November 15th through Friday, November 19th. During this time, crews will be completing water service replacements and performing permanent trench repairs between Court Street and Carroll Creek. Trench repairs will start at the intersection of Court Street and progress toward Carroll Creek. Crews will also begin water main construction on the West side of Carroll Creek and work toward the intersection of Bentz Street. Construction activity will be seen on West Patrick Street, between Court and Bentz Streets through the end of November 2004.
