The City of Frederick Hosts Venture Capital Symposium

The City of Frederick's Department of Economic Development will host Equity Resources: Future Trends in Non-Traditional Equity Financing on Thursday June 3rd from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the FCC Conference Center (registration will be from 8:30 AM-9:00AM).
This informational business symposium will feature a panel of the region's most noted entities in bioscience and I/T business financing, including Bryan Brewer - Senior Associate with Nixon Peabody, Patrick Huddie - Vice President with Evergreen Capital LLC, Ann Quinn - Managing Director with the State of Maryland Venture Capital program and Rick Larson - Managing Director with SJF Ventures. The panel discussion will be moderated by Bob Eaton, President of MdBio.
Registration is free. The intent of the morning is to provide emerging and existing high technology companies current insight as to the variety of non-traditional equity funding sources available for the creation and expansion of businesses.
