SUMMER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AT THE CITY OF FREDERICK

Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick is currently seeking summer interns for the following areas: Public Information Office, Public Meeting- Sign Language Interpreter, Mayor’s Office, Human Resources, Engineering, Planning, Information Technology, Legal, Department of Public Works, Code Inspections, and Permit and Building Inspections.

An internship in municipal government provides an exciting educational experience and a behind the scenes looks at how local government works. The City of Frederick is a small enough to provide interns with hands-on experience working with the Mayor and her staff. At the same time, because the City of Frederick is the second largest city in the State of Maryland and still rapidly growing, an internship with the City can offer ample interaction and experiences with municipal legislative process. All City internships are unpaid.
