DELAYED
BEGINNING TO STATE HIGHWAY ROAD WORK ON EAST PATRICK
Frederick,
Md. --- The State Highway Administration informed the
City of Frederick today that work that was scheduled
to begin on East Patrick Street today, Monday, May 10,
will most likely not begin until Wednesday, May 12.
Once work begins, it is anticipated to last approximately
seven to ten business days (weather permitting), between
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Improvements
on East Patrick Street, from Monocacy Blvd (near the
Sheetz) to Carroll Creek (just past the Frederick Fairgrounds),
will consist of deep patching work. Travelers are asked
to proceed with caution in this work area, as there
will be flagman and possible lane shifts. If possible,
travelers are asked to consider alternate routes when
entering and existing the downtown area. Expect travel
delays.
We
apologize for any inconvenience this street work may
have on you. Thank you for your cooperation!
