MAYOR DOUGHERTY REQUEST’S EXECUTIVE SESSION FOR WEDNESDAY

Frederick, Md. --- Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty has requested a Special Meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen for the purposes of calling an Executive Session to take place on Wednesday, March 24, at 4 p.m. This action is in accordance with the authority granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Government Article, Section 10-508(a)(10)(ii).
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen will be meeting in a closed Executive Session for the purpose of 10-508 (a)(10)(ii) which states; to discuss public security, if the public body determines that public discussions would constitute a risk to the public or public security, including: the development and implementation of emergency plans.
The Mayor will entertain a motion to this effect at 4 p.m. and will comply with the Open Meetings Act to the fullest extent.
