MAYOR DOUGHERTY CALLS A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN

Frederick, Md. --- City of Frederick Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty has called for a Special Meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen to take place on Wednesday, March 24, at 2 p.m., at City Hall.

The agenda for this meeting is as follows:
1. A Memorandum of Agreement with the Maryland Emergency Management Agency to accept FEMA and MDE grant funds for acquisition and demolition of flood damaged properties at 201 Barbara Street and 406 Thomas Avenue.

2. Authorization to use an amount not to exceed $42,000 of fee-in-lieu of parkland CIP funds for the local cash match.

3. Real estate Sales Agreement for 201 Barbara Street and 406 Thomas Avenue for acquisition as parkland.

At the commencement of the Special Meeting, the Mayor and Board of Aldermen will convene into their regularly scheduled Workshop.
