NEIGHBORHOOD
ADVISORY COUNCIL'S (NAC) 8 AND 5 TO HOLD JOINT MEETING
Frederick,
Md. --- The City of Frederick is pleased to announce
a joint meeting of the Neighborhood Advisory Council's
(NAC) 8 and 5 on Thursday, March 18, 7 p.m., at Waverly
Elementary School.
Topics
on the agenda for this joint meeting include but are
not limited to: Frederick City Police Department Presentation
on Gangs and Representative of Nuestra Casa del Pueblo
Board of Directors to talk about the growing Latino
Community in Frederick and
future partnerships.
Residents
are encouraged to attend this joint NAC meeting and
get involved.
NAC
8 covers areas north of Route 40, west by the City Limits,
south by Route 70, and east by Route 15. Includes Hillcrest
Heights, Frederick Heights, Linden Hills, Monarch Ridge
and Emerald Farm developments. The eastern area includes
Prospect Hall and Prospect View.
NAC
5 is bound on the North by Fort Detrick and Montevue
Lane, on the East by Rosemont Avenue and Route #15,
on the South by West Patrick Street (Route #40), and
on the West by the Frederick City Limits. Includes Tasker's
Chance, Willowcrest, Stonegate Farms, Waterford, Carroll
Park Manor, Rock Creek Estates and Waverly Garden developments,
but does not include Fort Detrick.
