LAND
MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE PUBLIC MEETING SCHEDULED FOR MARCH
29TH
Frederick,
Md.--- Please be advised that the City of Fredericks
Planning Department, as a part of the Comprehensive
Plan, will host a Land Management Ordinance Public Meeting
on March 29, at the William Talley Recreation Center,
from 7-9 p.m. The Land Management Ordinance was produced
to contain and combine all current City ordinances and
development regulations, such as Subdivision, Zoning,
Forest Conservation, Floodplain, Storm Water Management,
etc.
Topics that will be discussed at this Public Meeting
include: Downtown and Neighborhood Parking, Board Zoning
Appeals Process for Home Occupations, Advertising Requirements
for Development Plans, Historic District Advertising
Requirements and Issues of Concern, and Parkland Development
and Acquisition.
Citizens
are asked to provide input online by logging onto http://www.cityoffrederick.com/planningSurvey,
as well as attend the scheduled Public Meeting.
