INITIAL
MEETING OF THE CITYS NEWLY CREATED WATER TASK
FORCE SET FOR NEXT WEEK
Frederick,
Md. --- The City of Frederick, Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty
and the Water NOW Team are pleased to announce the inaugural
meeting of the Water Task Force. The Water Task Force
was created to allow citizens and other interested parties
the ability voice their opinions early in the decision-making
process and have the ability to positively influence
the decision-making process. The meeting will take place
on Wednesday, June 16, at 5:30 p.m., City Hall, Room
214.
Water
Task Force members include: Trish Cunningham, citizen
representative, Jack Lynch, citizen representative,
Michael Marschner, director of Frederick Countys
division of utilities and solid waste management, Tamar
Osterman, president of the Frederick County Association
of Realtors, Neil Peters, vice president of ARM Group,
Inc., Chris Smariga, president of the Land Use Council
of Frederick County Builders Association, Claudia Winkelman,
citizen representative, and David Winkelman, citizen
representative.
Mayor
Dougherty and Water NOW Team representatives will also
be in attendance including: Stephanie Davis, executive
assistant, Tom Pellegrino, capital improvement program
manager, Sandy Webb, Water NOW Team attorney, and Gail
Clapper, Water NOW Team administrative assistant.
