MARK O’CONNOR AND HIS APPALACHIAN WALTZ TRIO TO APPEAR AT THE WEINBERG CENTER FOR THE ARTS

Frederick, Md. --- The Weinberg Center for the Arts is pleased to announce that Mark O’Connor and his Appalachian Waltz Trio will be performing on Sunday February 29, 2004 at 7:00 p.m.

A product of America’s rich and folk tradition, O’Connor’s journey began with violin masters Texas fiddler Benny Thomasson and French jazz violinist Stephane Grappelli. His first record Appalachia Waltz was a success, his impressive follow-up release Appalachian Journey, received a Grammy® Award in 2001.

This show will be great fun for all fiddler lovers!
