TRASH COLLECTION DELAYED LAST NIGHT DUE TO ICY CONDITIONS

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that the City of Frederick was unable to complete its standard trash collection last night as a result of icy conditions. The City will have a single crew working this morning, Wednesday, to collect the downtown commercial area. If time allows, that same crew will service several other areas, including the Old Farm dumpsters/Carroll Park Manor/Amber Meadows. These areas were left uncollected when trash collection was suspended Tuesday morning due to the icy conditions.

The City of Frederick plans to collect the Wednesday route tomorrow, Thursday, February 5.
