SCENTS & SWEETS WINNERS ANNOUNCED

During the annual Scents and Sweets Competition on Wednesday, December 1st, professionals and amateurs competed for the most appealing floral centerpiece and creatively designed gingerbread structure. Winners were chosen by a panel of judges in six categories and all were awarded a cash prize. Following is a listing of this year’s winners:
PROFESSIONAL FLORAL:

AMATEUR FLORAL:

1ST - Bev Reidinger

2ND - Jutta Terrell

3RD - Catherine Tompkins

PROFESSIONAL GINGERBREAD:

AMATEUR GINGERBREAD:

1ST - Kathleen Sweet

2ND - C.Reese/C. Swartz

GINGERBREAD - CHILDREN’S GROUP:

The Holiday Committee of Historic Frederick and The City of Frederick Office of Special Events congratulate the winners and thank everyone who participated in this prestigious and unique competition.
