ROSEMONT AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION
TO ELIMINATE TURN OFF ROSEMONT ONTO SHOOKSTOWN ROAD

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that another step in the Rosemont Avenue Reconstruction Project will be taking place within the next couple of months. Shookstown Road will be limited to right turn in and out, only. This will be accomplished by means of a channelization island. As a result, there will no longer be left turns allowed from Rosemont Avenue at any time of day. Additionally, no left turns will be allowed from Shookstown Road to Rosemont Avenue. This work is scheduled to take place within the next month, weather permitting. When the City of Frederick has a definite date it will be advertised to citizens via media and the City of Frederick’s website.
