East Church Street Reconstruction Project Update
Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick is reconstructing East Church Street.
This past week the additional water connections were made. Construction materials were relocated, and remaining granite curbs on the south side were removed. Storm Drain inlets were installed near Maxwell Alley.

This coming week the contractor is scheduled to bring a milling machine in on Monday, mill/grade the south side of the street to grade, and place the base asphalt. When this is completed, traffic will be moved to the south side, on continuous paving. Any remaining house connections will be completed, and storm drain installation will commence.
