CITY OF FREDERICK SEEKING TO FILL PERSONNEL COMMISSION VACANCY

Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick is seeking interested parties to fill two vacancies on the Personnel Commission.

Responsibilities of the Personnel Commission include advising the Mayor, Board of Aldermen, and the Chief Officer of Human Resources and Administrative Services, on all problems concerning personnel administration. The candidates must be able to make investigations concerning the administration of personnel in the municipal service and reports findings. The Personnel Commission also hears appeals in cases of employee suspension, demotion, or removal. This Commission currently is seeking one full member and one alternate member.
