East Church Street Reconstruction Project Update

Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick is reconstructing East Church Street.
This past week the construction on sewer laterals to the north side of the street is continuing.

The week to come will include the lateral connections to continue. Please expect intermittent lane shifts.

Outstanding issues at hand are the cost of the brick driveway aprons; the City has analyzed the cost and has determined that the DPW forces can provide them at nearly the same cost the contractor would have charged for concrete. It has been decided that the aprons will be brick.
