PRELIMINARY WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS WORK TO BEGIN ON WEST PATRICK STREET

Frederick, Md. ---- After receiving unanimous approval at the March 18th Mayor and Board of Aldermen Public Meeting, Mid-Atlantic Utilities Inc. will begin preliminary work in the area of West Patrick Street for a water main improvements project. Throughout the next few months pedestrians and travelers are asked to proceed with caution in the area of Court Street and West Patrick Street. Be aware of workers in orange vests surveying, looking in manholes, marking street surfaces and test drilling holes.

The City of Frederick will be releasing a full schedule of work in the next few weeks. Merchants and citizens should expect single lane traffic on West Patrick Street beginning in September and lasting for several months.
