FORT DETRICK, MD, Friday, Sept. 5, 2003 -- There will be delays at the main gate and on Seventh Street today due to boilers being delivered to Fort Detrick by a large vehicle. The intersection of Porter St. and Ditto Ave., immediately inside the main gate, will be closed while the vehicle enters and turns on to Porter Street. We anticipate the arrival time may occur between 11:00 and 1:00 p.m. Decaled vehicles should use Old Farm and Opposumtown Gates to enter. If you enter the post using Main Gate during this time, you may experience delays. No entry is allowed through Rosemont Ave Gate.

The truck must use the main gate due to its size.
Another delivery is expected to occur Monday and more information will be available when we know the time.
