MAYOR CALLS FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION TO TAKE PLACE ON WEDNESDAY

Frederick, Md. --- Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty has requested an Executive Session to take place on Wednesday, September 24, following the 2 p.m. Mayor and Board of Aldermen Workshop. Mayor Dougherty will request a vote of the Aldermen to convene the meeting as a closed Executive Session.

The Mayor and Board of Aldermen will convene in a closed Executive Session for the purpose of 10-508 (a)(1)(i); the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom it has jurisdiction.

The Mayor will entertain a motion to this affect after Workshop and will comply with the Open Meetings Act to the fullest extent.
