MAYOR CALLS FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION TO TAKE PLACE ON THURSDAY

Frederick, Md. --- Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty has requested an Executive Session to take place on Thursday, September 4, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Mayor Dougherty will request a vote of the Aldermen to convene the meeting as a closed Executive Session. This action is in accordance with the authority granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Government Article, Section 10-508 (a)(1)(i).
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen will be meeting in a closed Executive Session for the purpose of 10-508 (a)(1)(i); the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom it has jurisdiction.
The Mayor will entertain a motion to this effect at 5:30 p.m. and will comply with the Open Meetings Act to the fullest extent.
