PARKING RESTRICTED ON CITY OF FREDERICK SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTES EFFECTIVE 6 P.M., THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 18

Frederick, Md. --- As a result of Hurricane Isabel, parking along designated Snow Emergency Routes in the City of Frederick will be restricted beginning at 6 p.m., on Thursday, September 18. Restrictions will be reevalauted ay noon on Friday. Any vehicles parked on these streets may be towed at the owner's expense.

Listed below are designated Snow Emergency Routes in the City of Frederick:

NORTH/SOUTH STREETS
Market Street --- from Walser Drive to Coca Cola Plant
Bentz Street/Motter Avenue/Opposumtown Pike --- from West South Street to North City Limits
East Street --- from East South Street to North Market Street
Baughmans Lane --- from US Rote 40 to Rosemont Avenue
South Jefferson Street --- from Prospect Blvd. to West Patrick Street
Monocacy Blvd. --- from East South Street to Hughes Ford Road
Monocacy Blvd. --- from Gas House Pike to MD Rt. 26

EAST/WEST STREET
Patrick Street --- from Northbound ramp US Rt. 15 to Bailes Lane
South Street/Reichs Ford Road --- from West Patrick Street to City Limits
Yellow Springs Road/Rosemont Avenue/Dill Avenue --- from City Limits to N. Bentz Street
Seventh Street --- from Military Road to East Street
Trading Lane --- from US Rt. 15 to MD Rt. 26
Butterfly Lane --- from Mount Phillip Road to Alt. Rt. 40


Also, all three City of Frederick parking decks will be open and free to the public beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 18. This will also be reevaluated at noon on Friday.
