Frederick, MD. --- Weinberg Center for the Arts is proud to present Barrage Vagabond Tales on November 1, 2003. Barrage is a dazzling musical troupe that has captivated audiences across North America, Europe and Asia and is bringing their fresh new show entitled Vagabond Tales here to Frederick.

Vagabond Tales features an international, multi-talented cast performing an eclectic mix of music, song, and dance that vividly illustrates the adventure of a musical wonderer.

The Vagabond’s story is one of enlightened freedom, self-discovery, and fun. With a magical steamer trunk as their source of inspiration, the cast explores a wide range of musical selections while showcasing am impressive array of individual musical talent. Audiences are treated to an intoxicating spectacle that combines spellbinding energy, breathtaking musical virtuosity, unique choreography, colorful staging and stunning musical arrangements.

The cast of Barrage features seven violinists/vocalists, one drummer, one bas player, a guitarist, and a percussionist.

Barrage has been intriguing audiences throughout North America, Europe and Asia since first taking the stage in 1996. The show is a creative offering of 5 to 1 Entertainments, the team responsible for determining the show’s music selections, training each player, composing and arranging all music and recording and co-producing all shows.
