FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, November 4, 2003
Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick will begin its annual Leaf Collection Campaign in early November and run through the first week in December. Residents are asked to rake their leaves into the street gutter for collection by City crews. Please ensure that there are no contaminants in the leaf piles (e.g., branches, litter). Leaves will be collected after the Annual Leaf Campaign only if they are bagged and set out during normal trash collection days. Also note that leaves may also be taken to the Frederick County Landfill at any time.
Day 1: November 10, 19, and December 8
Day 2: November 12, 20, and December 9
Day 3: November 13, 21, and December 10
Day 4: November 14, 24, and December 11
Day 5: November 17, 25, and December 12
Day 6: November 18, 26, and December 13
Please note there will be no collection on November 11 due to Veterans Day, Thursday and Friday November 27 and 28 for the Thanksgiving holidays, and during the week of December 1 through 4, due to Bulk Trash Collection.
