Monocacy Boulevard Closed

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that The City of Frederick will be closing Monocacy Boulevard north of Gas House Pike on Tuesday, November 18, 2003. The road will be closed in order to install a new river gauging station on the Monocacy River upstream of the City's Monocacy Water Treatment Plant, a contractor will be working off the side of the bridge on. This work is being done in cooperation with the US Geological Survey.

The safe conduct of this work will require the temporary closure of two of the four traffic lanes, resulting in one lane in each direction for approximately 4 hours Tuesday morning beginning at 8:00 AM.
