MAYOR DOUGHERTY TO PARTICIPATE CITY’S 22nd

ANNUAL ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION ON APRIL 2

Frederick, Md. --- Mayor Jennifer Dougherty will present a Proclamation during the City’s 22nd Arbor Day celebration on Wednesday, April 2, at 1 p.m., Rhoades Garden in Baker Park.

This year an Autumnalis Cherry will be planted. This semi-double blooming tree will flower in the spring and then again in the fall. The 4^th grade class from St. John Regional Catholic School will help celebrate this annual tradition.

The program will be held from 1 – 1:30 p.m. A rain date has been set for Thursday, April 3, 1 p.m., Rhoades garden.
