EXECUTIVE SESSION POSTPONED

UNTIL 6 P.M. TONIGHT

Frederick, Md. --- Due to a lengthy Mayor and Board of Aldermen Workshop yesterday, Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty has requested that the Executive Session that was scheduled to take place yesterday, take place tonight at 6 p.m. Mayor Dougherty will request a vote of the Aldermen to convene the meeting as a closed Executive Session. This action is in accordance with the authority granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Government Article, Section 10-508 (a)(1).

The Mayor is requesting that she, along with the Board of Aldermen, go into a closed Executive Session for the purpose of discussing a personnel matter.

The Mayor will entertain a motion to this effect at 6 p.m., tonight, and will comply with the Open Meetings Act to the fullest extent. The Mayor and Board of Aldermen will convene at 7 p.m. for the regular Public Meeting.
