MAYOR REQUESTS EXECUTIVE SESSION TO FOLLOW REGULARLY SCHEDULED MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN WORKSHOP

Frederick, Md. --- Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty has requested an Executive Session to follow the regularly scheduled Mayor and Board of Aldermen Workshop on March 19. Mayor Dougherty will request a vote of the Aldermen to convene the meeting as a closed Executive Session. This action is in accordance with the authority granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Government Article, and Section 10-508 (a)(1) and 10-508(a)(14).

The Mayor is requesting that she, along with the Board of Aldermen, go into a closed Executive Session for the purpose of discussing a personnel matter and the contents of a contract.

The Mayor will entertain a motion to this effect prior to tomorrow’s Workshop and will comply with the Open Meetings Act to the fullest extent. The Mayor and Board of Aldermen will convene at 2 p.m. for the regular Workshop.
