MAYOR CALLS FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION TO PRECEDE REGULARLY SCHEDULED MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN PUBLIC MEETING

Frederick, Md. --- Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty has requested an Executive Session to precede the regularly scheduled Mayor and Board of Aldermen Public on Thursday, June 5, 5 p.m. Mayor Dougherty will request a vote of the Aldermen to convene the meeting as a closed Executive Session. This action is in accordance with the authority granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Government Article, and Section 10-508 (a)(1) and 10-508(a)(3).

The Mayor is requesting that she, along with the Board of Aldermen, go into a closed Executive Session for the purpose of discussing appointments and the acquisition of real property.

The Mayor will entertain a motion to this effect at 5 p.m. and will comply with the Open Meetings Act to the fullest extent. The Mayor and Board of Aldermen will convene at 7 p.m. for the regular Public Meeting.
