WAL-MART MAKES CONTRIBUTION

TO CITY TO BENEFIT AREA KIDS

Frederick, Md. --- Wal-mart recently contributed $3,000 to the City of Frederick that will be used to improve the playing surface on two of the multi-purpose fields at Riverside Park. As a result of the contribution from Wal-mart, two other groups who currently use the fields, the Excel Soccer Club and Frederick United Soccer Club, have agreed to match the donation to complete field work. The estimated total cost of project, $6,000, will be funded through contributions.
