CITY OF FREDERICK SEEKING
CITIZEN PARTICIPATION IN COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN TASK FORCES
Frederick,
Md. --- The City of Frederick is
currently updating the 1995 Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan is an important tool not only for the
Mayor and Board of Aldermen, but also for the staff and citizens as it sets
forth the policies and goals that the City of Frederick will be striving
towards during the next 20 years.
The Steering Committee for the Comprehensive
Plan has established the following task forces to examine specific issues
facing the City of Frederick; Community Facilities, Downtown, Economic
Development, Housing, Transportation, and Land Use.
These specialized groups will be meeting
twice a month for the next three to four months examining related issues and
developing recommendations that will be forwarded to the Steering
Committee.
Please note the following schedule for task
force meeting occurring in February.
