Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick is searching for interested residents to enroll in the winter session of Frederick 101. Frederick 101 is free, six-week citizens awareness program, designed to educate residents about City services, City operations, and interesting Citywide issues. The program is designed to be an interactive tour through the Frederick community and will be lead by the City's Chiefs and Directors and interesting community leaders.
Frederick 101 will provide you with the following:

Information
about your community;
·
Information
on how to get involved and make a difference; and
·
An
opportunity to meet your neighbors and interesting classmates.
Classes will be held on Tuesdays in March 2003 at various City locations with classes beginning at 7 p.m. One Saturday class is scheduled for March 29, 9 – 11:30 a.m., which will include a tour of one of the City’s Water Treatment Plants. Two dates have been scheduled in early April for presentations by students and a graduation ceremony.

Frederick 101 is open to the first 25 residents who enroll. Interested residents should contact Vincent Hughes, Chief Operations Officer of Citizens Services, to enroll at
