STREET CLOSURES FOR SNOW REMOVAL

Frederick, Md. --- Please note the following schedule for City of Frederick snow removal. Due to the large amounts of snow, the City will need to close streets in the downtown area for snow removal. Streets will be closed in two block intervals. There will be no parking signs posted. Once snow has been removed from an area the road will reopen and parking will be permitted. Please note the following street closures:

· 4^th Street

From East Street to Bentz Street

Friday, February 21, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

• South Street

From Carroll Street to Bentz Street

Friday, February 21, 8 p.m. through Saturday, February 22, 8 a.m.

• 5th Street

From East Street to Bentz Street

Friday, February 21, 8 p.m. through Saturday, February 22, 8 a.m.

• 7th Street

From East Street to Market Street

Friday, February 21, 8 p.m. through Saturday, February 22, 8 a.m.

• 2^nd Street

From Market Street to Bentz Street

Friday, February 21, 8 p.m. through Saturday, February 22, 8 a.m.

Removed snow will be placed in the parking lot of the Monocacy Village Park and in the lower parking lot at Harry Grove Stadium.
