CITY ANNOUNCES DEADINE FOR ALLOCATIONS BASED UPON WATER ALLOCATION ORDINANCE

Frederick, Md. --- Please be advised that The City of Frederick's Water Service Committee has announced a deadline of Tuesday, December 30, 2003 for the next round of the Discretionary Business Retention & Development and Discretionary Infill Lot water allocations based upon the 2002 Water Allocation Ordinance.

Application are available on the City's website at www.cityoffrederick.com or at City Hall. Applications are being accepted until 4 p.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2003. ANY PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT THAT WANTS TO BE CONSIDERED IN THIS ROUND OF ALLOCATIONS MUST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION. LETTERS OF INTENT BY THEMSELVES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

The City's Water Service Committee will act upon all eligible Infill Lot and Business Retention & Development applications on Wednesday, January 21, 2004.
