CITY
SPONSORS NEIGHBORHOOD EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS & PROBLEM
SOLVING TRAINING
Frederick,
Md. --- Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty and the Frederick
Police Department will lead a seminar on Neighborhood
Emergency Preparedness and Problem Solving. This training
will take place on Tuesday, September 9, from 7 - 9:30
p.m., at City Hall. The training will provide Neighborhood
Advisory Council (NAC) members and those interested
in becoming NAC members with the fundamental tools needed
to provide critical planning services to prepare neighborhoods
and the entire community in the event of a disaster,
natural or terrorist. The program will provide participants
with information on the City's planning process and
how neighborhood leaders can assist in this process.
The
City of Frederick Police Department and the Office of
Citizen Services will provide training on how to approach,
assess, and develop neighborhood solutions to problems.
Reservations
are not required; however, they will greatly assist
in the planning and coordination of the event. For more
