CITY
OF FREDERICK LAUNCHES CODE ENFORCEMENT WEB PAGE
Frederick,
Md. --- The City of Frederick has launched a new page
on its website dedicated to the Department of Code Enforcement.
Log onto http://www.cityoffrederick.com/departments/code_enforcement/code.htm
for complete details.
The
Department of Code Enforcement is a division of the
Department of Planning & Community Development.
This department promotes and maintains a safe and desirable
living and working environment through a proactive effort
in the enforcement of laws, regulations and ordinances
that help to improve the quality of life for all its
citizens. Scott Coble, City of Frederick webmaster,
designed the web page with the assistance of Mike Blank,
manager of the department of code enforcement.
The
new site is very informative and connects, via links,
to other departments and sites both internal and external.
Citizens now can file a complaint online and learn more
about the City's codes and ordinances such as; Property
Maintenance Code, Zoning Ordinance, Livability Code,
Frederick City Code and the Historic District Ordinance.
The site also has information for landlords and tenants,
new property and business owners, and more. An F.A.Q.
(frequently asked questions) page allows citizens to
log on and have answers to their questions right at
their fingertips.
Also
in an effort to increase customer service, as well as
provide another contact option, the Department of Code
Enforcement has established an email address for citizens,
codeenforcement@cityoffrederick.com.
For
additional information on this new web page or the Department
of Code Enforcement call 301-360-3825.
