CITY OF FREDERICK SPRING BULK TRASH TO BE COMPLETED BY SATURDAY

Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick’s Spring Bulk Trash Campaign is just about complete. By the close of business today, Friday, April 11, crews will have picked up all bulk trash within the City, with exception to large appliances. Large appliances, which the City attempts to recycle, are picked up separately using a low trailer. The City expects crews to complete pick up of all appliances by mid-day, on Saturday, April 12.

The City thanks all citizens who participated and who were patient during this unusually large bulk trash collection. There will be no call back day for Spring Bulk Trash. The next bulk trash pick-up will be in August 2003. Additional information on bulk trash pick-up can be obtained by contacting the Department of Public Works at 301-600-1173. Special Collections can also be arranged by contacting the Department of Public Works. Special Collections are fee-based and can be requested at anytime throughout the year.
