MAYOR DOUGHERTY’S WEEKLY NEWS CONFERENCE

Frederick, Md. --- Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty will hold her weekly news conference on Tuesday, September 10, at 10 a.m., in the Board Room of City Hall. The following items will be discussed.

1. Details on the City of Frederick scheduled 911 Tribute, as well as street closings and parking restrictions.

2. Weinberg Center for the Arts privatization study.

3. Today is primary day! The Mayor will talk about the election and its importance to the community.

4. The Board of Aldermen recently unanimously approved the creation of two initiatives affecting the City of Frederick. The Mayor will discuss both the Education Commission, an initiative that has been spearheaded by Alderman Donna Ramsburg, and Neighborhood Advisory Councils.
