MAYOR DOUGHERTY’S WEEKLY NEWS CONFERENCE

Frederick, Md. --- Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty will hold her weekly news conference on Tuesday, October 8, at 10 a.m., in the Board Room of City Hall. The following items will be discussed.

1. Water/Drought Update

2. Temporary Signs

3. Municipalities Talk Show - Mayor Jennifer Dougherty will be in inaugural guest on a new talk show for Adelphia called Municipalities. The show will highlight all 13 Frederick County municipalities. The Mayor’s taping will take place on Tuesday, October 9, at 1:30 p.m.

4. Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) – Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) approval to the Flood Insurance Rate Map and Flood Boundary and Floodway Map for City of Frederick. FEMA's approval will provide significant relief to property owners in the affected area by eliminating the need for flood plain insurance.
