MAYOR CALLS EXECUTIVE SESSION PRIOR TO EVENING MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN WORKSHOP

Frederick, Md. --- Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty has requested an Executive Session at 5:30 p.m. prior to the scheduled evening Mayor and Board of Aldermen Workshop on November 20. Mayor Dougherty will request a vote of the Aldermen to convene the meeting as a closed Executive Session. This action is in accordance with the authority granted under the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Government Article, Section 10-508(a)(1); 10-508(a)(8); and 10-508(a)(14).

The Mayor is requesting that she, along with the Board of Aldermen, go into a closed Executive Session for the purpose of:

· Discussion of a personnel matter

· Consult with legal regarding potential or pending litigation

· Discussion of property disposition

The Mayor will entertain a motion to this effect at prior to Workshop and will comply with the Open Meetings Act to the fullest extent. The Mayor and Board of Aldermen will convene at 7 p.m. for the regular Workshop.
