MAYOR DOUGHERTY BEGINS ROUTINE GUEST SPOT ON WFMD’S MORNING NEWS EXPRESS PROGRAM

Beginning Friday, March 8, at 8:22 a.m. Mayor Jennifer Dougherty will be a bimonthly guest on WFMD’s Morning News Express program. The interview with the Mayor will be aired live two Friday mornings a month. According to host Ron Kitzmiller the Mayor’s segment will last from 5 to 20 minutes.

“I am very pleased to be a on the Morning News Express,” stated Mayor Dougherty. “This is another great way to bring the business of local government to the citizens. The show will focus on the major issues from the previous night’s meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen. I’m especially excited about the call-in feature and the opportunity it provides to respond directly to questions from concerned citizens.”

Radio personality Ron Kitzmiller has hosted this show for six years and commented, “I am looking forward to having Mayor Dougherty on this program. This is a great way to keep the people of Frederick informed of the happenings in their community.”
