MAYOR DOUGHERTY TO ATTEND THE OPENING OF THE WOMEN’S CENTER AT FREDERICK COMMUNITY COLLEGE ON MARCH 22

Mayor Jennifer Dougherty will join the Frederick Community College (FCC) Office of Adult Services and the Frederick County Commission of Women as they celebrate the opening of the Women’s Center at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 22.

The Women’s Center is a partnership between FCC and the Frederick County Commission of Women. It will offer workshops and a community resource and referral directory. During the event, Dixie Miller, FCC Board of Trustees member, will be honored for her significant contributions to women in the Frederick area.

The opening will be held in the Frederick Community College Conference Center from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
