CITY TO HOLD AN EVENING MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN WORKSHOP TO DISCUSS NOISE AND NUISANCE ORDINANCE

MARCH 20, 7 PM

A Mayor and Board of Aldermen Workshop will be held this Wednesday, March 20 at

7 p.m. to discuss the Noise and Nuisance Ordinance for The City of Frederick. Mayor Dougherty requested the evening Workshop to encourage public participation.

According to Heather Price Smith, Chief Legal Services Officer, work on the ordinance has been ongoing since the previous administration. “There have been some long-standing dialogues on how to regulate noise and how to measure vibrations,” stated Ms. Price Smith. “I am glad that Mayor Dougherty requested this evening Workshop because I know the public is interested in this issue. The City invites the citizens to participate in this meeting.”

The Workshop will be held on March 20 at 7 p.m. in the Boardroom of City Hall and will be televised on City TV channel 99.
