Alderman Marcia Hall has requested that her name be added to the Aldermen that have requested the special meeting. She was unavailable at the time this News Release was originally sent.

ALDERMEN REQUEST A SPECIAL MEETING

Pursuant to the authority granted under section 10 of the Charter of The City of Frederick, a majority of the Aldermen consisting of Bill Hall, Joe Baldi, David Lenhart, and Marcia Hall have requested that a special meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen be held for the purpose of voting to meet in a closed executive session to discuss a personnel matter.

This special meeting will be held Monday, February 11, 2002 at 4 PM in the Board Room of City Hall. Authority for the Mayor and Board of Aldermen to meet in a closed executive session is granted under the authority of section 10-508 of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
