WEEKLY NEWS CONFERENCE
Frederick, Md. --- Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty will hold her weekly news conference on Tuesday, December 3, at 10 a.m., in the Board Room of City Hall. The following items will be discussed:
1.
Agenda
for Wednesday’s Mayor and Board of Aldermen Workshop:

Discussion of
the City’s Authority over Home Owners Associations.
·
Discussion of
an Arts & Entertainment District.
·
Discussion of
Economic Development Priorities.
The Mayor and
Board of Aldermen Public Meeting on Thursday, December 5th, will
include two items relating to the Weinberg Center for the Arts, Inc., as well
as, appointments to the Neighborhood Advisory Council. A complete agenda can be found online at

Holiday
Shopping Alert issued by the Frederick Police Department.
3.
The
City of Frederick will kick off the holiday season on Friday with the 17th
annual Kris Kringle Procession.
Procession begins at 6:30 p.m. at Everedy Square. The ceremony will conclude at the Band Shell
in Baker Park where the Mayor will light the Baker Park tree!
