THIRD WEEK OF DECEMBER
Frederick, Md. --- Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty has no public appearance scheduled for the weekend. Please note her tentative schedule for the third week in December.

Monday, December 16, 2002
- Mayor Dougherty will join the residents at Crumland Farms at Homewood for lunch at 12 p.m.
Tuesday, December 17, 2002
- Mayor
Jennifer P. Dougherty’s will hold her weekly press conference at 10 a.m.,
City Hall Board Room. Among those
attending the press conference will be a group of ninth and tenth graders
from Heather Ridge. The students will
also go on a tour and learn the history of City Hall.
- The
Mayor will be a guest on Adelphia’s talk show, Municipalities. Taping will begin at 1:45 p.m. at the
Adelphia studio.
- At
5:30 p.m., Mayor Dougherty will attend the CDS of Maryland’s Holiday Tea
Party. Their office is located at
452 Prospect Blvd.
Wednesday, December 18, 2002

Mayor Dougherty
and the Board of Aldermen will have their regularly scheduled 2 p.m.
Workshop. Agenda items include; Update
on the Golden Mile Force, Discussion of a Budget Amendment for the Department
of Economic Development, Presentation of Residential Trash Survey Results,
Discussion of a request for a liquor license for the Festival of the Arts. Please note that the next mayor and Board of
Aldermen Workshop will take place on January 8, 2003.
Thursday, December 19, 2002
- The Mayor will be out of the office until 1 p.m. at the Maryland Environmental Service Board of Directors Meeting.
- The
Mayor will attend a Holiday Reception at the Wealth Management Group
between 5 – 7 p.m. (F & M Bank Corporate Headquarters).
Friday, December 20, 2002
- Mayor Dougherty will once again be the guest of WFMD’s Morning News Express show hosted by Ron Kitzmiller at 8:20 a.m.
- Join the Mayor for the City of Frederick’s Annual Festival of Lights Celebration. This Frederick holiday tradition will begin at 7 p.m., outside of City Hall, around the Christmas tree.
