CITY INVITES PARTICIPATION

IN FY04 BUDGET PROCESS

Frederick, Md. --- The City of Frederick invites participation in the budget process from all agencies requesting funding from the City of Frederick for the upcoming fiscal year 2004. The 2004 budget is for the period that begins July 1^st, 2003. The City is in the early stages of the process and invites parties to submit a Request for Funding Application by February 7, 2003. This is a new process designed to aid Mayor Dougherty and the Board of Aldermen in selecting from amongst a variety of organizations desiring support.
