MAYOR DOUGHERTY WEEKEND SCHEDULE

Frederick, Md. --- Mayor Jennifer P. Dougherty will once again be out and about in the community this weekend for various events. Please note her schedule:

Saturday, August 24, 2002

· No public appearances planned to date.

Sunday, August 25, 2002

· Mayor Dougherty will be attending the Community Foundation of Frederick County’s reception tilted The Life and Times of Charlie Main. The event begins at 2 p.m., at Homewood at Crumland Farms, will honor former City of Frederick Police Chief.

· The Mayor will also be attending the long-awaited dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony for a newly renovated residence hall at Hood College at 3 p.m. Shriner Hall is the oldest residence hall on Hood’s campus.
