MAYOR
DOUGHERTY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CITY OF FREDERICK’S 21ST
ANNUAL ARBOR
DAY CELEBRATION ON APRIL 3
Mayor
Jennifer Dougherty will present a Proclamation during the City’s 21st
Arbor Day celebration on Wednesday, April 3 at 5:00 p.m. at the Department of
Youth Services (DYS).
The
Mayor will be joined by the DYS children, Mike Kay of the Maryland State Forest
Service and Mrs. Laura Offutt, local tree expert. An Ulmus X “Regal Elm” will
be planted.
The
program will be held from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. DYS is located at 413 Burck Street.
