MAYOR DOUGHERTY’S WEEKLY NEWS CONFERENCE

Mayor Jennifer Dougherty will hold her weekly news conference on Tuesday, April 30 at

10 a.m. in the Board Room of City Hall. The following items will be discussed:

1. Hope VI Tour: Mayor Dougherty will critique the Hope VI tour in Baltimore and Washington, D.C. last Friday.

2. Water: Mayor Dougherty will discuss water conservation efforts, the plans for a Water Allocation Ordinance and the Amended Executive Order declaring a moratorium on subdivision platt recordation, annexations and building permits.

3. Latino Community: Mayor Dougherty will review her meeting with representatives of the Latino Community last week.

4. Charter changes: Mayor Dougherty will discuss the proposed Charter changes that are on this Thursday’s Mayor and Board of Aldermen Regular meeting agenda.

5. Sites B & C: Mayor Dougherty will review the Contracts of Sale for Site B and Site C along Carroll Creek, which are on this Thursday’s Mayor and Board of Aldermen Regular meeting agenda.
